System Requirements
EaseLab is a cloud service — you do not need to install a database, server, or desktop application on your premises.
For lab staff (browsers)

Recommended devices

Printing
- Standard browser print for invoices, reports, and barcode stickers
- Configure printers in Settings (invoice, report, sticker dialogs) before high-volume use
Offline behavior
The lab portal can cache recent invoices for read-only viewing when connectivity is briefly lost. Creating or editing records requires an active connection.
For patients (public portal)
- Any smartphone or computer with a browser
- Invoice number and access code for online report lookup
- No account required for report viewing
For analyzer integration
If your lab connects chemistry or hematology analyzers:

Limitations
- Real-time collaboration requires internet (except cached invoice viewing noted above)
- Very large PDF batches may take longer on older devices
- Urdu report printing quality depends on browser and printer font support
Not required
You do not need to install or maintain:
- PostgreSQL, Redis, or application servers
- Docker or development tools
- Manual database backups (EaseLab manages platform backups; see Backups)
