Get Started
Welcome to EaseLab. This guide helps you sign in, set up your lab, and complete your first tasks — no installation required. EaseLab runs entirely in the cloud; you only need a web browser.
What you need
- A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari — latest version recommended)
- A stable internet connection
- Login credentials provided by your lab owner or created when you registered your lab
See System Requirements for device and browser details.
1. Access your lab portal
Your lab has a dedicated web address, for example:
https://yourlab.easelab.app
or a custom domain configured by your administrator.
| Action | Where to go |
|---|---|
| Staff login | Your lab URL + /login |
| New lab registration | Your EaseLab signup page (link from marketing site or invitation) |
| Patient report lookup | Your lab URL → Online Report section, or /report |
Bookmark your portal
Save your lab login page in your browser favorites so staff can open it quickly each morning.
2. Sign in
- Open your lab portal login page.
- Enter your email and password.
- Complete email verification or two-factor authentication if your lab requires it.
- You land on the Dashboard.
If you forgot your password, use Forgot password on the login page.
3. First-time lab setup (owners)
If you registered a new lab, complete these steps before inviting staff:
- Account → Settings (toolbar gear) — enter lab name, address, phone, and logo.
- Administration → Tests — review or add tests and prices.
- Administration → Test Departments — organize your catalog.
- Administration → Users — create accounts for reception and lab staff.
- Administration → Roles — assign permissions to each role.
- Administration → Subscription — confirm your plan and usage limits.
4. Your first day as staff
- Open the Dashboard — review today's patients, invoices, and pending work.
- Click Create Invoice in the toolbar — register a patient visit and add tests.
- Record payment on the invoice if applicable.
- Use Enter Result from the invoice actions menu when results are ready.
- Print or Send the report to the patient.
5. Invite your team
Lab owners and users with permission to manage users can:
- Go to Administration → Users.
- Click Add user — enter name, email, and temporary password.
- Assign one or more roles (Receptionist, Lab Technician, etc.).
- Ask each team member to change their password after first login.
6. Help patients online
Share your public portal link so patients can:
- Look up reports with invoice number + access code
- Book home sampling (if enabled)
- Browse your test catalog
Find your public URL under Account settings.
